Very intrigued by the name of the book.
The book is about the journey of a middle-class young woman who dreamt of changing the world. All she knew was she wanted to lead a non-profit life but dint know where to start.
I haven’t got my hands on the book yet, but from what I can make out of the title, I think she put on her blue sweater and that is where change began for her.
Feel related to the author in a way that I come from a middle class family and I am young woman who wants to lead a non-profit life. I have started my journey with this. But right now I live two lives, 1 - Where I wear the blue cover-alls hoping that one day the blue cover-alls helps me lead a comfortable non-profit for-impact life (Thanks Abhilash)!. 2. Where I get to wear the blue-sweater for a little part of my current life.
But there shall be a day when I am going to just wear the blue-sweater all my life!
Glanced through the Preview of the book and i was moved with these lines….
“….my story is really composed of the stories of the stories of others, the extraordinary people who have shaped my life. Each of these individuals have given me an incredible education about the indomitable human spirit, how alike we are in the most fundamental ways and how what it is important is our individual and shared sense of dignity”
